In this guide, we’ll show you where you can find all 31 Altars of Lilith in Kehjistan, the desert region that you’ll first adventure to during Act III of Diablo 4‘s campaign.
You can find Altars of Lilith in each of the game’s five regions, and each statue will give you a permanent benefit. Most statues will boost one of your core stats (Dexterity, Strength, Willpower, or Intelligence), while others might increase the amount of Murmuring Obols you can carry. The best statues give you a bonus Paragon Point. These bonuses are account-wide, so all of your characters benefit when you grab an altar.
Following the rollout of Diablo 4‘s seasonal cadence, Altars of Lilith have become even more useful. When you collect an Altar of Lilith on your current character, you’ll also be collecting it for all characters on your account. This means that every new character you make – seasonal or otherwise – will already have the altars unlocked for them, as well as the stat bonuses and Renown that comes with them.
Each Altar of Lilith gives you 10 Renown, which is a big chunk of the total Renown in each region. Collecting these altars as early as possible will allow you to start with multiple bonus skill points and potion charges each season.

Northern Kehjistan, #1-12
Northern Kehjistan features twelve Altars of Lilith scattered across its arid terrain, often hidden near ruins, cliffs, and narrow paths. Each altar grants permanent character bonuses, making exploration worthwhile for any adventurer seeking power. Keep an eye on the edges of the Caldeum outskirts and the sands stretching toward Amber Sands, as several altars blend seamlessly with the environment. Visiting all twelve ensures a meaningful boost to your attributes in this dangerous region.
The first half of this guide will show you where to find the first 12 Altars of Lilith in Northern Kehjistan.
#1: Amber Sands – Forgotten Coastline
This altar will increase the maximum number of Murmuring Obols all of your characters can hold by five.
West of the Altar of Ruin Stronghold, along the shore near some palm trees, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith.
#2: Altar of Ruin – Altar of Ruin
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
Inside the Altar of Ruin Stronghold, make your way to the east until you find a massive red pit. The Altar of Lilith is sitting right next to the lip.
#3: Amber Sands – Scorching Dunes
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
South of the Altar of Ruin, you’ll find an elevated rock face with an Altar of Lilith hanging lopsided out of the top.
#4: Amber Sands – Lut Bahadur
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
Northeast of the Shivta Ruins, you’ll see a small building with a partially collapsed roof and frame. Inside, near some candles, you’ll find an altar.
#5: Amber Sands – Tar Pits
This altar will increase the maximum number of Murmuring Obols all of your characters can hold by five.
South of the Sunken Library dungeon, you’ll see some craters in the ground next to a cliff face. The Altar of Lilith is leaning up against that cliff.
#6: Amber Sands – Dunes of Despair
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
South of the Inferno dungeon, you’ll find a ruin peeking out of the sand. The altar is sitting in front of the ruin.
#7: Amber Sands – Road to Alcarnus
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
East of the Collapsed Vault dungeon, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith tucked into an alcove near some wooden scaffolding.
#8: Alcarnus – Alcarnus
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
In the Alcarnus Stronghold, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith in the northeast part of the fortress, hiding under some wooden beams.
#9: Scouring Sands – Forgotten Watch Post
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
East of the Alcarnus Stronghold, you’ll find a ruin that sits high above the sands. At the top, near a pillar, you’ll see the Altar of Lilith.
#10: Scouring Sands – Silent Expanse
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
Northeast of the Tarsarak Waypoint, you’ll find another set of ruins. The Altar of Lilith is in the corner.
#11: Scouring Sands – Silent Expanse
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
Just north of the Halls of the Damned dungeon, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith pressed into the sand and leaning on a rock.
#12: Scouring Sands – Scouring Sands
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
In the desert section, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith in the northwest corner, sitting on its side and partially sunk into the sand.
Southern Kehjistan, #13-23
Southern Kehjistan hosts Altars of Lilith scattered across deserts, ruins, and coastal edges, each concealed near ancient structures or guarded by hostile creatures. Altars #13-23 reward players with stat bonuses and Renown once activated, helping complete the region’s progression. Keep an eye on narrow paths and forgotten shrines near key landmarks such as Caldeum and Gea Kul, as several altars lie off main routes or behind clusters of enemies.
The second half of this guide will delve into the southern part of Kehjistan, and we’ll show you how to find the rest of the altars.
#13: Scouring Sands – Rezam’s Excavation
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
Next to the entrance of the Abandoned Mineworks dungeon, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith resting on the red sand.
#14: Scouring Sands – Forlorn Badlands
This altar will increase the maximum number of Murmuring Obols all of your characters can hold by five.
Directly west of Tarsarak, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith sitting on the edge of a cliff.
#15: Caldeum – Caldeum Bazaar
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
In the Caldeum Bazaar, next to the Renegade’s Retreat dungeon, you’ll find an altar sitting next to a broken wall.
#16: Fields of Hatred – Bleak Dunes
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
In the Fields of Hatred, just northeast of the Denshar Waypoint, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith hidden in the trees.
#17: Fields of Hatred – Pallid Oasis
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
Southeast of Denshar, you’ll find a small wooden bridge that leads over a ravine. On the other side is another altar.
#18: Fields of Hatred – Pallid Oasis
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
South of Denshar (and just west of Altar of Lilith #17), you’ll find an altar hidden in some trees on the edge of a cliff.
#19: Southern Expanse – Hakan’s Oasis
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
West of the Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold, you’ll see a small oasis with an altar hidden among the foliage.
#20: Southern Expanse – Eastern Basin
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
Just southeast of Gea Kul, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith with its back to the camera, hanging out under some trees.
#21: Southern Expanse – Central Plateau
This altar will increase the maximum Murmuring Obols all of your characters can hold by five.
Northeast of Gae Kul, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith next to an old, destroyed camp.
#22: Southern Expanse – Central Plateau
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
East of the Hakan’s Refuge dungeon, you’ll see a bunch of palm trees. Hidden between them is an Altar of Lilith with its back to the camera.
#23: Southern Expanse – Central Plateau
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
North of the Hakan’s Refuge dungeons, you’ll see some destroyed trees sticking out of the earth. Between them is one of the Altars of Lilith.
Post-campaign Kehjistan
After completing your Kehjistan exploration, revisit the region to ensure you’ve found every Altar of Lilith. Each statue grants permanent stat bonuses and contributes to your Renown progress, making them valuable for later character builds. Checking completed areas on the map and cross-referencing with known altar locations helps confirm nothing was missed before moving on to other regions.
In the last section of this guide, we’re going to show you how to get the final eight Altars of Lilith in Kehjistan. All of these are either easier to get after the campaign – when you’re a higher level – or are simply impossible to get until you’re in Act VI
#24: Omath’s Redoubt – Omath’s Redoubt
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
You must complete the Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold to get this altar. Once you clear out all the enemies and claim the Stronghold for yourself, crawl through the rubble into the small room across from the newly unlocked Crumbling Hekma dungeon. You’ll see the Altar of Lilith sitting on … another altar.
#25: Caldeum – Forgotten Overlook
This altar will increase the maximum Murmuring Obols all of your characters can hold by five.
In a small quarry-like area north of the Denshar Waypoint, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith trapped under a structure.
#26: Caldeum – Residential District
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
Once you gain access to the city of Caldeum during the campaign, make your way to the western part of the map. Near a pillar and a brazier you’ll find an Altar of Lilith among the rubble.
#27: Ragged Coastline – Dahlgur Oasis
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
West of the Tunnels Beneath the Oasis dungeon, you’ll find a small alcove. Inside and near some trees you’ll find another altar.
#28: Ragged Coastline – Scorched Gulch
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
West of the Corrupted Grotto dungeon, you’ll find a climbable path into a small gulch. Inside you’ll find some Elite enemies and an Altar of Lilith.
#29: Ragged Coastline – Blistering Strand
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
On the western coast of Kehjistan, east of the Heretics Asylum dungeon, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith sandwiched into a corner near a climbable path.
#30: Ragged Coastline – Jagged Coast
This altar will increase the maximum Murmuring Obols all of your characters can hold by five.
Northwest of the Forgotten Ruins dungeon, by the shore, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith on the sand.
#31: Amber Sands – Dimmed Grotto
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
West of the Vizjerei Athenaeum dungeon, on a long and skinny path in northern Kehjistan, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith by some rocks.
