Ready your weapons and summon your courage-Elden Ring Nightreign’s exclusive network test is about to begin, offering a rare glimpse into the next chapter of the Lands Between. Starting February 14th, selected players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will dive into five intense sessions spread over four days, testing the game’s online systems and multiplayer thrills ahead of its full release.
Developers FromSoftware described the network test as a “preliminary verification” where selected users will get to play a portion of the game before its launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on May 30. As the developers put it, the test will verify “Various technical verifications of online systems will be examined by large-scale network load tests.” In other words, this step will be an important stress test to make sure the online elements are all up to speed.
Here’s the Elden Ring Nightreign network test schedule in your time zone, plus details about accessing the test. And for more about how the game plays, don’t miss AELGAMES’s Elden Ring Nightreign preview.
Can you still get into the Elden Ring Nightreign network test?
Unfortunately, you can no longer get into the Elden Ring Nightreign network test, as registration closed on January 20, 2025. The first wave of sign-ups ended then, and only those selected received access codes to participate in the test sessions held from February 14 to 17, 2025. Bandai Namco has not announced any plans for additional test sessions or an open beta, so if you missed the registration window, you won’t be able to join this network test.
If you want to sign up for the network test and haven’t done so already, there’s some bad news: Registration closed for the test back in January. And as of this writing, publisher Bandai Namco has not announced anything along the lines of a second test or open beta.
However, if you’re among the lucky ones who get to try the game this weekend, we’ve got you covered. Below, see all the dates and times for all five sessions of Elden Ring Nightreign network test.
Elden Ring Nightreign network test schedule in your time zone
The Elden Ring Nightreign network test is scheduled across five sessions from February 14 to February 17, 2025, with each session lasting about three hours. The exact start times vary by time zone to accommodate players worldwide. For example, sessions in Pacific Time (PT) run from 3 AM to 6 AM and 7 PM to 10 PM on specific days, while in the UK (GMT), sessions occur from 11 AM to 2 PM and 7 PM to 10 PM. Players who registered and received a code can join during these windows on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. The test allows selected players to experience a portion of the game and helps FromSoftware verify online systems under load before the full release.
The development team originally said the Elden Ring Nightreign network test would have five different sessions. However, game server issues affected those who logged on for the first network test, and the developer said on social media that it’s Twitter. If the developers add any additional network tests, AELGAMES will update the post with the most up-to-date information.
