Where to find the Storeroom Key
The Storeroom Key in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree can be found at the top of a ladder inside a room near the waterfall in Belurat, Tower Settlement. To get it, start from the Small Private Altar Site of Grace, head through the area, defeat a dual-sword enemy, then proceed left towards the waterfall. Enter the alleyway on the left, find the room with the ladder, and climb to the top to retrieve the key from a corpse. This key opens the storeroom door across the bridge near the Small Private Altar Site of Grace, granting access to the NPC Hornsent Grandam and her questline.
From the Small Private Altar Site of Grace, head north and up the stairs. Take out the Horned Warrior, and then turn left. You’ll be at the top of the waterfall that falls down to the fountain square from earlier in your exploration. Stick to the right (north), to find an alley that leads around to the other side – watch for Shadow Undead as you go.
Take a left at the river, and then head into the building on your right. Climb the ladder to find the Storeroom Key on a corpse at the top.
How to use the Storeroom Key to meet Hornsent Grandam
To use the Storeroom Key to meet Hornsent Grandam in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, first locate the key at the top of the waterfall in Belurat, Tower Settlement. To get there, start at the Small Private Altar Site of Grace, proceed through the archway, defeat the two-sword enemy, then follow the stairs to the left leading to the waterfall. Enter the room with a ladder on the right, climb it, and pick up the Storeroom Key from the corpse at the top. Next, return to the Small Private Altar Site of Grace and head across the bridge near the altar to find the locked storeroom door on the left. Use the Storeroom Key to unlock this door and enter to find Hornsent Grandam inside. After defeating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion boss, return to Hornsent Grandam with the Divine Beast Head equipped to advance her quest and receive rewards such as the Watchful Spirit Incantation.
Head back to the Small Private Altar Site of Grace. This time, when you leave, take a left (south) to cross the bridge those annoying casters snipe from.
At the far end, you’ll use the Storeroom Key to unlock a door to meet Hornsent Grandam. There’s nothing to do with her yet, but she’s creatively insulting. Unlock the other door just to have more options – it’s not really a shortcut, but it does give you the drop on the Shadow Undead in that dead end.
