Fortnite Simpsons Mini Season Hidden Gag Locations Quests Guide

Guides

Springfield hides more than donuts this season-Fortnite’s Simpsons mini event is filled with secret gags tucked behind walls, props, and familiar haunts. Here’s where to find every one before they vanish.

All hidden gag locations in the Fortnite Simpsons mini season

Players can find the hidden gags scattered across Springfield-themed areas, including Moe’s Tavern, the Kwik-E-Mart, and the Simpson family home. Each gag references classic moments from the show, such as Bart’s chalkboard jokes or Homer’s secret snack stash. Exploring these spots not only rewards fans with nostalgia but also grants small in-game bonuses and Easter eggs that tie directly into the mini season’s storyline.

There are 12 hidden gags for you to find across Springfield Island in Fortnite. Some of the hidden gags can be completed in multiple locations, while others have a specific location for you to go to.

Below, we’ve listed where to find all 12 hidden gags in no particular order. For those that have multiple locations, we’ve listed some of the best locations to complete the hidden gag.

Release the Hounds (Springfield Nuclear Power Plant)

To complete “Release the Hounds,” you’ll need to head to Mr. Burns’ office, which is located on the fourth floor of the southern building at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Interact with the red button on the desk to release the hounds and finish the gag.

Sit on the Simpsons’ Couch (Evergreen Terrace)

The Simpsons’ couch is, of course, located inside the Simpsons’ home in Evergreen Terrace. When looking at Evergreen Terrace on the map, you’ll notice a group of six houses surrounded by roads on all sides and the houses are split into two columns and three rows. The Simpsons’ home has a brown roof and it’s in the second column and second row.

To complete the gag, all you’ll need to do is sit on the couch.

Gather a Steamed Ham (Evergreen Terrace)

Steamed hams, which look an awful lot like hamburgers, can be commonly found in kitchens and dining rooms in homes in Evergreen Terrace. Two specific locations where we’ve commonly found the platter are the Simpsons’ dining room and Ned Flanders’ kitchen.

Once you find a tray, make sure to “take a steamed ham to go” to complete the gag.

Find Mr. Sparkle (South of Evergreen Terrace)

Head to the Springfield Tire Yard, which is south of Evergreen Terrace and indicated on the map by black smoke. In the southwestern corner of fenced tires, you’ll find a pile of dirt that you can dig up. After you interact with it, you’ll find the dishwashing detergent and finish the gag.

Jump the Springfield Gorge (East of Evergreen Terrace)

To the east of Evergreen Terrace, you’ll find a ramp that lets you jump over the gorge. There is a chance that a car spawns at the top of the ramp, but we recommend finding a car in one of the nearby areas and driving it to the top. All you’ll need to do is drive off of the ramp to finish the gag, but, if you want to really jump the Springfield Gorge, make sure to use your boost as you’re going down the ramp to get some air.

Knock the Jebediah Springfield Statue’s Head Off (Springfield Town Square)

Make your way over to the Springfield Town Square, where you’ll find a statue of Jebediah Springfield at its center. To complete this hidden gag, all you’ll need to do is hit the statue with your pickaxe or weapon. However, this gag can only be done once a game, so you may want to land here and hit it before anyone else does.

Prank call Moe (Springfield Town Square or Springfield Nuclear Power Plant)

To prank call Moe, you’ll need to find a working telephone. If you had to think of a phone from The Simpsons, it would probably be the one inside Moe’s bar, which is located on the southern side of Springfield Town Square. Head inside the bar and interact with the phone to complete the hidden gag.

If you see a lot of people dropping at Springfield Town Square, you can avoid the crowd and head to the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, where you’ll find a payphone along the southern purple building. Interacting with this payphone will also complete the hidden gag.

Step on a rake (Burns Manor garden)

East of Burns Manor, you’ll find a large garden full of Burns statues, fountains, and hedges. South of the garden, you’ll find a building that is full of rakes. This hidden gag tends to be a bit buggy as you might not complete the gag the first time you step on a rake, but this location has so many rakes for you to test, you’re bound to finish the gag in no time.

Dislodge the Lard Lad Donut (Donut District)

Head to the Donut District to find the huge Lard Lad Donuts statue – it’s so big you cannot miss it. To finish this gag, you’ll need to destroy the statue by hitting it with your pickaxe or shooting it.

Catch Blinky (Kamp Krusty)

For this hidden gag, you’ll need to catch a Blinky, which is a three-eyed fish. This can be done at any fishing spot around Springfield Island, but we recommend heading to the lake by Kamp Krusty as it has a ton of fishing spots.

Spray Springfield

As you’re exploring Springfield Island, you may notice a spraycan icon pop up on your screen from time to time. At these locations, you can emote to spray Springfield, which would complete the hidden gag. We’ve found five locations where you can spray Springfield:

  • Kwik-E-Mart east of Cletus’ Corn Hole
  • Steps in front of Burns Manor
  • Kwik-E-Mart in Springfield Town Square
  • Behind the Springfield Town Hall in Corruption Corners
  • Behind the Springfield Police Station in Donut District

Bring the Haw Haw Humiliation

This last gag might be the most difficult to complete, as you’ll need to defeat one of the three bosses: Evil Homer, Witch Marge, or Krusty the Clown. The bosses themselves aren’t that difficult to defeat, but finding them is the real struggle. The bosses don’t have a dedicated spawn somewhere on the map. Instead, there are multiple locations where they can spawn. According to Twitter, there are a total of 27 different spawn locations and each location has their own likelihood of spawning a boss.

Map coordinates for each hidden gag on Springfield Island

Fortnite does not show explicit “grid” coordinates for each Springfield Island gag in most written guides, and the detailed coordinate-overlays that exist are currently only visible inside certain interactive maps and videos that cannot be accessed right now. Because of that limitation, it is not possible here to give precise numerical or grid coordinates for every hidden gag, only landmark-based directions (Evergreen Terrace, Town Square, etc.).

What is available instead

  • Guides list all 12 hidden gags and clearly tie each one to a named POI or landmark such as Evergreen Terrace, Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Donut District, Burns Manor, Kamp Krusty, and Springfield Town Square.

  • Some guides also show map screenshots with markers for each gag, but the underlying coordinate labels (for example, letter-number grid references) are not provided as text, so they cannot be transcribed accurately here.

How to get exact coordinates yourself

  • Use a site or video that shows the full Springfield map with an overlay grid (often labeled along the edges) and pause/zoom on each gag marker; note the letter and number for each gag.

  • Alternatively, open an interactive Fortnite map for the Simpsons mini season, enable the “Hidden Gag” filter, and hover each icon to see its coordinates, then write those down in a personal list for quick reference.

Show a map image with all 12 hidden gag markers

An in-answer map image with all 12 hidden gag markers cannot be generated here because access to external map images and image-editing tools is currently restricted. However, there is a ready-made map with all markers you can view directly in your browser.

Where to see the full marked map

  • GamesRadar’s Simpsons Hidden Gags guide includes a Springfield Island overview map “with all 12 Fortnite Hidden Gags locations marked on the map above,” which visually shows every gag icon on one image.

  • Polygon’s hidden gag guide embeds screenshots of Springfield Island with labeled gag locations, giving you a clear visual of where each marker is relative to POIs like Evergreen Terrace, Town Square, Burns Manor, and Donut District.

How to use that map efficiently

  • Open the GamesRadar guide and scroll until you see the full Springfield map image with numbered or icon markers for each gag, then match the numbers to the text descriptions below it.

  • Keep that page open on a second screen or device while playing, so you can land directly at each marker in order (for example: Town Square statue → Donut District Lard Lad → Burns Manor rake room, etc.).

If you want, a text-based “route order” (1-12) can be laid out so you can follow the web map and clear all gags in one or two matches.
