Genshin Impact Amrita Pool Guide Find Rewards and Primogems

Guides

Hidden deep within the verdant depths of Fontaine lies the Amrita Pool-an ancient mechanism tied to mysterious creatures and rare rewards. Learning how to awaken its power can turn the tides of your adventure, granting access to treasures few players ever touch.

How to unlock the Amrita Pool in Genshin Impact

Complete the “The Splendorous Sky That Day” World Quest in the Khvarena of Good and Evil chain within Gavireh Lajavard of Sumeru’s desert. This triggers the “Heart of Amrita” World Quest, which takes place near Vourukasha Oasis; speak with Fedhri at the pool inside a cave southwest of the area to gain access. Offer Plumes of Purifying Light collected from the region in sets of six to raise the pool’s level and claim rewards like Primogems and materials, up to a maximum of six levels requiring 36 plumes total.

You must first complete the world quest “The Splendorous Sky That Day,” which is part of the “Khvarena of Good and Evil” quest chain. Once completed, you’ll unlock the “Heart of Amrita” quest, which will take you to this location.

  1. Travel to a nearby waypoint such as the Statue of the Seventh to the north or the teleport waypoint to the east.
  2. Enter the cave located to the north of underground waypoint.
  3. Continue through the cave until you meet Fedhri, who is sitting next to a pool of water.
  4. Interact with Fedhri and complete their dialogue options to unlock the Amrita Pool.

The Amrita Pool offers six levels of rewards with each level requiring six Plumes of Purifying Light. Turn in 36 plumes to receive every “Gift of Amrita” which includes a namecard, Primogems, Mora, Hero’s wit, and character materials.

Where to find all Plumes of Purifying Light

There are 36 Plumes of Purifying Light in total: 26 are found in the open world in Girdle of the Sands (Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhkert), and 10 come from Fravashi Tree “Pale Fire” mini-quests.

Basic structure

  • Total Plumes: 36, needed to max the Amrita Pool and get all rewards (including 600 Primogems).

  • Open-world Plumes: 26, marked on the map by a special icon; you usually interact with the orb using Sorush and may have to follow it or collect smaller orbs.

  • Fravashi Tree Plumes: 10, obtained by finding 10 Fravashi Trees and completing each tree’s “Pale Fire” challenge.

Where they are

  • Region: All Plumes are in the Girdle of the Sands expansion of Sumeru, mainly around Temir Mountains, Tunigi Hollow, Samudra Coast, Vourukasha Oasis, Asipattravana Swamp, and nearby underground areas.

  • Surface Plumes: Many sit on rocks, tree branches, cacti, or near small pools, often close to waypoints like the Statue of the Seven at Tunigi Hollow, Gate of

How to complete Fravashi Tree quests for Plumes

Each Fravashi Tree gives 1 Plume once you awaken the Residual Pari with Sorush and complete its specific task, then talk to it again to receive the Plume and chest.

Basic steps for every Fravashi Tree

  1. Equip Sorush as your gadget, approach the Fravashi Tree, and use her skill to awaken the Residual Pari inside the tree.

  2. Swap back to your character, talk to the Pari, and accept its request (this starts/advances “Pale Fire” and counts toward the 10 trees).

  3. Complete the assigned task in the nearby area, then return and speak to the Pari again to purify it, which turns it into a Plume of Purifying Light and spawns a chest.

Types of tasks you’ll get

  • Collect Residual Pari Fragments (x3): Use Sorush to pick up three glowing green fragments floating around rocks, cliffs, or gray crystals near the tree.

  • Fly alongside the Pari: Follow the Residual Pari as it moves through the air until it circles back to the tree; keep close to avoid resetting.

  • Combat challenges: Defeat waves of enemies that spawn near the tree (Hilichurls, Abyss Mages, Mitachurls, etc.) to cleanse the area.

  • Udumbara Pistils requests: Some trees (particularly near Asipattravana Swamp) ask for 3 Udumbara Pistils; collect them from nearby Udumbara flowers and return.

Requirements and tips

  • You must have progressed the “Khvarena of Good and Evil” quest line (especially “As the Khvarena’s Light Shows” and related parts) to access several underground Fravashi Trees.

  • A few trees sit inside caves or tunnels around Tunigi Hollow and Asipattravana Swamp; use nearby waypoints and follow marked paths or entrances to reach them.

  • After you purify all 10 Fravashi Trees, “Pale Fire” will complete and you’ll have all 10 Plumes from trees for the Amrita Pool.

If you tell me which part you’re stuck on (for example, “the tree that wants Udumbara” or “the one with fragments near a huge crystal”), I can walk you through that specific tree step by step.
