Hidden across the sunlit Mirage paradise, secret world quests await travelers who dare to explore every shore, puzzle, and forgotten path of Genshin Impact’s shimmering summer event.
Genshin Impact‘s summer event, Secret Summer Paradise, comes with a new area, the Veluriyam Mirage, and a bunch of content that’ll reward you with a Kaeya skin, a free Layla, and hundreds of primogems. One way to get some easy primogems is by completing the new world quests. The Secret Summer Paradise event introduces four such world quests that will take you around the Veluriyam Mirage, but they can be a little hard to find.
Read on to find out the location of each of the four Secret Summer Paradise world quests in the order in which you unlock them.
‘A Starry Night, As Remembered’ world quest location
Under a sky stitched with constellations, the quest unfolds in a tranquil highland town where lanterns glow softly and the night breeze carries whispers of forgotten paths, inviting you to trace the glow of distant stars as you uncover secrets hidden among the terraced fields.

How to start: “A Starry Night, As Remembered” can be started by speaking with Jeroney on the southwestern corner of the Veluriyam Mirage. The fastest way to reach Jeroney is to take the “Violet Flower” rail, which can be found beside the teleport waypoint in the Overgrown Valley. Make sure to gather the water bubbles and switch lines with left click when prompted or else you’ll return to where you started.
What you do: In “A Starry Night, As Remembered,” you’ll need to take a picture of the night sky.
‘Capturing Light and Shadow’ world quest location
The Capturing Light and Shadow world quest takes place on the eastern side of the main island in Secret Summer Paradise. Players spot a peculiar light beam piercing the cliffs near the beach, prompting investigation amid rocky outcrops and scattered ruins. Activating the light mechanism here reveals hidden paths and triggers the quest sequence, blending exploration with precise environmental puzzles.

How to start: The “Capturing Light and Shadow” world quest can be started by walking up the stairs south of the teleport waypoint in the southeastern corner of the Veluriyam Mirage.
What you do: In “Capturing Light and Shadow,” you’ll need to follow the Hydro eidolons to rebuild the mysterious mural.
‘Daiya’s Three-Day Reverie’ world quest location
The “Daiya’s Three-Day Reverie” quest can be found in the Veluriyam Mirage area during the Secret Summer Paradise event. After completing the prerequisite event activities, players can access this quest near the Silver Bottle Courtyard, where Daiya invites the Traveler to experience a series of themed challenges and story sequences. Completing it rewards event currency, primogems, and character experience materials tied to the seasonal event.

How to start: “Daiya’s Three-Day Reverie” can be started by interacted with the Park Announcement Speaker just north of the Thinkers’ Theater.
What you do: Daiya’s Three-Day Reverie is a three parter where you have to attend three shows: “The Black Nacre and the All-Devouring Kraken,” “Petrifying Gaze,” and “Skycastle Saviors.”
‘Returning Curios’ world quest location
The “Returning Curios” world quest can be found in the Veluriyam Mirage area, accessible during the Secret Summer Paradise event in Genshin Impact. Players can begin the quest by interacting with a curious object near one of the Mirage Domains, which triggers a short exploration task. Completing it often involves speaking with a few event NPCs, uncovering hidden items, and solving simple environmental puzzles scattered around the area.

How to start: “Returning Curios” is unlocked after you complete the three parts of the Secret Summer Paradise quests. Once you’ve completed them, head towards Idyia in the Silver Bottle Courtyard to automatically unlock the quest.
Where is the Veluriyam Mirage entrance located
Veluriyam Mirage serves as a temporary event area in Genshin Impact’s Sumeru Desert, accessible only during the Secret Summer Paradise event (version 3.8).โ
Entry Requirements
Access begins through the main event quest “An Invitation From Afar!” in Secret Summer Paradise Part 1, which automatically transports players via a giant magic bottle after starting the storyline. No permanent open-world entrance exists outside the event.โ
Open-World Location
The magic bottle’s external position aligns with the Desert of Hadramaveth in southern Sumeru, specifically in the southern swirl above “Wadi Al-Majuj” on the map (near the stream area, but no interactable bottle appears post-event). Players cross-reference cutscenes to pinpoint it during the quest.โ
In-Event Navigation
Once inside via the quest, use teleport waypoints and Choo-Choo Carts in areas like Silver Bottle Courtyard (first unlocked) or Overgrown Valley; subsequent parts unlock Pavilion of Hermits and Thinkers’ Theater.โ
How to reach the Veluriyam Mirage entrance from the nearest teleport waypoint
The Veluriyam Mirage entrance is not directly accessible from an open-world teleport waypoint, as it’s a temporary event area entered via the Secret Summer Paradise storyline.โ
Starting the Entry Quest
Begin by teleporting to the nearest permanent waypoint in Sumeru’s Desert of Hadramaveth: the one southeast of Tanit Camp or south of the Wadi Al-Majuj label on the map (in the southern swirl area). From there, head to the quest marker for “An Invitation From Afar!” (Part 1 of Secret Summer Paradise), which appears automatically if eligible (Adventure Rank 30+, event active); interact with the giant magic bottle to enter the Mirage instantly-no manual travel needed beyond reaching the quest start.โ
Inside Mirage Travel
Once inside, the first waypoint unlocks in Silver Bottle Courtyard upon arrival. Subsequent areas like Overgrown Valley use Choo-Choo Carts from southern tracks, dropping you at underground waypoints (e.g., for quests like Capturing Light and Shadow).โ
