Lost amid Gerudo Highland’s jagged peaks, Ishodag Shrine hides a trial of cunning Recall mechanics that bends time itself to your will.
Ishodag Shrine location
The Ishodag Shrine sits on the Great Sky Island in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, at coordinates (0273, -0809, 1570). Players reach it early after activating the Recall ability from the Nachoyah Shrine. From the Room of Awakening, cross the chasm using wooden platforms and logs propelled by updrafts. Glide southeast toward the shrine’s glowing green entrance on the main island section, avoiding falls by sticking to safe paths and wind currents.
Ishodag Shrine is in the Hyrule Field region to the west-northwest of the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower (and Lookout Landing). The exact coordinates are (-0885, 0418, 0048).

Ishodag Shrine will teach you how to use the fan Zonai device – the “windy device” from this challenge’s name.
1. At the bottom of Ishodag Shrine’s entrance stairs, grab the fan from the floor on your left as you pass.
2. Place it on the ground next to the wall ahead of you. Place it so the narrow end is pointed down (and the yellow light is on top when it’s activated).
3. Hit the fan to turn it on, and use your paraglider to ride the wind to the top of the wall.
4. At the top of the stairs, you’ll find another fan and a wooden panel.
5. Place the fan along one short side of the panel with the grate side (the direction the wind blows) pointed back.
6. Pick the whole assembly up with Ultrahand and place it in the water. Climb on board, and hit the fan to activate it. Ride your airboat to the far side of the water.
7. On the other side, grab one of the fans and turn to the right.
8. There’s a seesaw hanging there, with a chest attached to the right end. Place the fan against the underside of the low end of the seesaw with Ultrahand. Turn it on to push the seesaw level.
9. Grab the other fan and place it on the ground facing up.
10. Use your paraglider to ride the wind up, and open the chest for an opal.
How to get the chest in Ishodag Shrine
The treasure chest in Ishodag Shrine (“A Windy Device”) is located just before the final lift, on the right side, attached to a seesaw-like or vertical platform.
Steps to Reach It
After crossing the second water/platform puzzle, turn right to spot the chest hanging on the tilted platform.

Grab one nearby fan with Ultrahand and attach it to the lower end of the seesaw (opposite the chest side), with the grate facing outward.

Strike the fan with your weapon to activate it; the wind pressure levels the platform horizontally.

Place the second fan on the ground nearby, facing upward, and activate it to create an updraft.

Jump off the platform, open your paraglider, and glide up to the chest using the updraft-it contains an Opal.
Alternatively, some players use Ascend directly on the leveled platform if positioned right. Retrieve the fans afterward for the final lift puzzle.

Steps to Complete It
After grabbing the chest (optional), retrieve both fans with Ultrahand.

Step onto the platform first (to avoid it rising prematurely).

Strike each fan with your weapon to activate them; the downward wind lifts you smoothly to the top.
