The current character banners in patch 5.2 feature Chasca and Lyney, alongside the four-star characters Ororon, Sucrose, and Barbara. The weapon banners are the respective signature weapons of the featured five-star characters: the Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage bow and The First Great Magic bow.
What characters and weapons are in the next Genshin Impact banner?
The next Genshin Impact banners will introduce two new characters: Skirk, a Cryo sword-user, and Dahlia, a Hydro sword-user, both debuting in Version 5.8 according to official drip marketing. For the current active banners in Version 5.6 Phase II (May 27 to June 17, 2025), the featured 5-star characters are Kinich (Dendro, claymore) and Raiden Shogun (Electro, polearm), with the 4-star characters Thoma (Pyro, polearm), Kujou Sara (Electro, bow), and Lynette (Anemo, sword) also available. The weapon banner during this period highlights the 5-star Fang of the Mountain King (claymore) and Engulfing Lightning (polearm), alongside 4-star weapons Lion’s Roar (sword), Favonius Greatsword (claymore), Dragon’s Bane (polearm), Eye of Perception (catalyst), and The Stringless (bow). Additionally, the Chronicled Wish banner is active, featuring a wide selection of Inazuma characters and weapons, excluding Raiden Shogun and Mizuki.
The character banners that will run after Chasca and Lyney’s banners are for Zhongli and Neuvillette. The weapon banner will feature both of their signature weapons: the Vortex Vanquisher polearm and the Tome of the Eternal Flow catalyst.
Zhongli is a Geo polearm-user who exceeds at creating gigantic beefy shields and Neuvillette is a Hydro catalyst-user who blasts enemies away with giant horizontal waterfalls.

The four-star characters who will run alongside Zhongli and Neuvillette have yet to be announced, but will get properly revealed closer to the day their banners launch.
When does the next Genshin Impact banner start?
The next Genshin Impact banner is set to begin on June 17, 2025, at 8:00am server time, immediately following the conclusion of the current Phase 2 banners featuring Kinich and Raiden Shogun. This new banner will mark the start of Version 5.7, with highly anticipated debuts for the characters Skirk and Dahlia, though the exact order and details of their banners are yet to be officially confirmed.
