Diablo 4 Altar of Lilith Locations Full Guide with Maps 160 Sites

Guides

Scattered across Sanctuary, the Altars of Lilith grant powerful boosts to every character you create-if you can find them. This guide pinpoints every altar’s exact location, detailing the regions, stat bonuses, and map routes you need to claim them all.

In this Diablo 4 guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the Altars of Lilith in the Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, the Dry Steppes, Kehjistan, and Hawezar.

You can find Altars of Lilith in each of the game’s five regions, and each statue will give you a permanent benefit. Most statues will boost one of your core stats (Dexterity, Strength, Willpower, or Intelligence), while others might increase the amount of Murmuring Obols you can carry. The best statues give you a bonus Paragon Point. These bonuses are account-wide, so all of your characters benefit when you grab an altar.

Following the rollout of Diablo 4‘s seasonal cadence, Altars of Lilith have become even more useful. When you collect an Altar of Lilith on your current character, you’ll also be collecting it for all characters on your account. This means that every new character you make – seasonal or otherwise – will already have the altars unlocked for them, as well as the stat bonuses and Renown that comes with them.

Each Altar of Lilith gives you 10 Renown, which is a big chunk of the total Renown in each region. Collecting these altars as early as possible will allow you to start with multiple bonus skill points and potion charges each season.

Our interactive map can give you a bird’s-eye view of the locations for all 160 Altars of Lilith in Sanctuary, allowing you to quickly scan the continent and find where you need to go.

Below, in our detailed walkthrough, you’ll find our numbered maps showing the locations of the Altars of Lilith in the Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, the Dry Steppes, Kehjistan, and Hawezar. You’ll also find links out to our full walkthroughs for each in-game region, which will show you the exact location for each Altar of Lilith you’re looking for.

Best route to collect all Altars of Lilith quickly

The fastest widely used route to grab all 160 Altars of Lilith is a single continuous loop across Sanctuary that starts in Fractured Peaks (Nostrava) and finishes in the Dry Steppes just southwest of Ked Bardu, done on a mount and using waypoints smartly. Below is a practical version you can follow using any interactive Altar map.โ€‹โ€‹

High-level route order

  • Start in Fractured Peaks around the Nostrava Stronghold once it is cleared, then sweep the entire region in a clockwise loop (north โ†’ east โ†’ south โ†’ back toward Kyovashad/Nostrava).โ€‹โ€‹

  • Move into Scosglen and again clear it in one large loop, hugging the coastline and forest edges to avoid zig-zagging inland repeatedly.โ€‹

  • From there, ride into Kehjistan, following the outer desert and coastline first, then cutting inward to pick up the city-adjacent and dungeon-adjacent statues.โ€‹

  • Head through Hawezar with a similar perimeter-then-inward pattern, saving deep swamp pockets for short branches off the main line rather than full detours.โ€‹

  • Finish in the Dry Steppes, ending near the outer area southwest of Ked Bardu; this lets you end close to a major hub with a waypoint once the loop is done.โ€‹โ€‹

How to follow the “gogodr” route

  • Use an interactive map or the well-known Reddit/YouTube route credited to user “gogodr,” which draws a single path line through all 160 altars, with branch lines for small side detours.โ€‹โ€‹

  • Treat thick or purple lines as your main travel spine and thinner or pink lines as quick out-and-back branches so you are rarely backtracking across entire sub-zones.โ€‹

Efficiency tips to make it “quick”

  • Unlock and use a mount before starting; riding straight past mobs and elites saves a huge amount of time on such a large world-tour.โ€‹

  • Pre-unlock as many major waypoints and some key strongholds as you naturally level; during the Altar run, teleport whenever a line on the route would otherwise cross most of a region.โ€‹

  • Zoom in on your in-game map: already-claimed Altars show as gray statues, so you can skip them and only ride to the ones still missing compared to your external route map.โ€‹

  • Plan to do the entire loop in one or two long sessions; community estimates put a clean, mounted run with teleports at “a few hours” if you are not stopping for side content.โ€‹

Practical step-by-step plan

  1. Clear Nostrava Stronghold, grab its nearby Altars, then begin the Fractured Peaks loop following your chosen route map line closely.โ€‹โ€‹

  2. Once Fractured Peaks is done, waypoint to the nearest Scosglen hub on your route line and continue the loop without returning to Kyovashad unless the route specifically crosses it.โ€‹

  3. Repeat this “follow the big loop, teleport to the next hub on the line, do short branches only when they’re shown” pattern through Kehjistan, Hawezar, then Dry Steppes until all 160 icons match your in-game map.โ€‹โ€‹

If you say which regions you have already cleared (or where your waypoints are unlocked), a more tailored mini-route

Which zone should I start in for fastest full run

Start in Fractured Peaks and do a full clockwise sweep there first for the fastest, most efficient full run.

Why Fractured Peaks is best

  • Fractured Peaks is your starting campaign area, so you already have several waypoints and parts of the fog of war revealed, which cuts down travel time immediately.โ€‹

  • The terrain is compact and linear compared to later zones, letting you learn a good “Altar sweep” rhythm before the larger, more open regions like Dry Steppes and Hawezar.โ€‹

  • Many of the best-known full-Sanctuary routes begin around Nostrava/Kyovashad, loop through all of Fractured Peaks, and then naturally flow into Scosglen and the rest of the world, minimizing long dead rides.โ€‹

Recommended overall order

  • Start: Fractured Peaks (full clockwise loop starting near Nostrava/Kyovashad).

  • Then: Scosglen โ†’ Kehjistan โ†’ Hawezar โ†’ Dry Steppes, following a big perimeter loop in each zone and taking short “in-and-back” branches for inland statues.โ€‹

If you say which waypoints and strongholds you already have unlocked, a more detailed per-zone order (with when to teleport vs ride) can be sketched out.
