These Pokémon will spawn more frequently during the event period:

  • Diglett

  • Kabuto
  • Aerodactyl
  • Dunsparce
  • Roggenrola
  • Drilbur

Pokémon Go ’Adventure Week’ event egg hatches

During Pokémon GO’s Adventure Week 2024 event, players can hatch a variety of Fossil-themed Pokémon from 7 km Eggs. The hatchable Pokémon include Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura, each with an increased chance to appear as a Shiny variant. This event runs from August 2 to August 12, 2024, offering players double XP for hatching Pokémon and boosting the excitement of collecting these rare Fossil Pokémon through egg hatches.

What rare Shiny Pokémon can I expect to encounter during Adventure Week 2024

During Pokémon Go Adventure Week 2024, you can expect to encounter several rare Shiny Pokémon with boosted odds. The featured Shiny Pokémon for this event are:

  • Cranidos

  • Shieldon

  • Tirtouga

  • Archen

  • Tyrunt

  • Amaura

These Pokémon are primarily available through 7km Egg hatches and Field Research encounters, both offering increased Shiny rates for the duration of the event. Additionally, some of these Pokémon may also be found through special paid research tasks and, less commonly, in the wild if they are nesting in your area.

Other fossil Pokémon like Aerodactyl, Omanyte, Kabuto, and Lileep are also available with Shiny potential, but their odds are not boosted in the same way as the main six event Pokémon.

Which of the boosted shiny Fossil Pokémon are the rarest to find during Adventure Week 2024

The rarest boosted Shiny Fossil Pokémon to find during Adventure Week 2024 are Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. While all six boosted Fossil Pokémon (Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, Amaura) have increased shiny odds in 7km eggs and Field Research, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura are considered the rarest because they are not available in wild spawns during the event and are only obtainable through eggs and research tasks, making them much harder to encounter compared to Cranidos and Shieldon.

Additionally, while Aerodactyl and Lileep are also rare shiny Fossil Pokémon, their shiny rates are not boosted during this event, and their encounter methods are even more limited, making them extremely challenging to find in shiny form.

In summary, among the boosted group, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura are the rarest due to their limited availability in eggs and research only, with no wild spawns.
