Hytale Console Commands Guide

Guides

Hytale’s hidden console commands grant godlike control-spawn items, tweak worlds, bend rules-in seconds.

Hytale console commands

Hytale console commands let players adjust gameplay, test features, and fix issues directly through the in-game console. They can be used to change weather, spawn items or creatures, teleport across the map, and control server settings. To use them, players usually open the console with a specific key and type the desired command, often followed by parameters or player names. These commands are especially helpful for creators, server admins, and testers who need quick control over the game environment.

Here’s a list of the most important console commands in Hytale. Copy the base command on the left, and add an extension from the middle column if applicable.

  • Hytale item IDs list for give command

Hytale’s /give command uses specific item IDs to spawn items directly into your inventory, typically in formats like /give [Item_ID] -quantity=64 or /give [playername] [Item_ID] [quantity]. You’ll need admin privileges or cheats enabled in single-player; use in-game tools like /droplist for a partial list or external databases for full access.

    Command Syntax

    • Basic self-give: /give Item_ID -quantity=5 (e.g., /give Ingredient_Bar_Iron -quantity=64).

    • Give to player: /give [player] Item_ID [quantity] (e.g., /give Alex Weapon_Longsword_Flame 3).

    • Optional metadata: Add JSON for custom properties, like durability.

    Common Item ID Examples

Hytale has thousands of items across categories; here’s a selection from verified lists for quick reference:

Category Item Name Item ID Give Example
    Ingredients Iron Ingot Ingredient_Bar_Iron /give Ingredient_Bar_Iron
    Ingredients Gold Ingot Ingredient_Bar_Gold /give Ingredient_Bar_Gold
    Ingredients Life Essence Ingredient_Life_Essence /give Ingredient_Life_Essence
    Ingredients Light Leather Ingredient_Leather_Light /give Ingredient_Leather_Light
Ore Blocks Iron Ore (Stone) Ore_Iron_Stone /give Ore_Iron_Stone
    Plant Blocks Fir Log Wood_Fir_Trunk /give Wood_Fir_Trunk
    Weapons Flame Longsword Weapon_Longsword_Flame /give Weapon_Longsword_Flame

For the complete 2,900+ item database with search and generators, visit sites like HytaleItemIDs.com or hytalecommands.com directly in your browser. Item IDs may update in patches, so cross-check with official Hypixel docs or in-game help.

How to use metadata in Hytale give commands

Hytale’s /give command supports optional metadata via JSON-like parameters appended to the item ID, allowing customization of properties like durability, enchantments, or custom data on spawned items. This works only with admin privileges or cheats enabled, and syntax follows patterns like /give [Item_ID] -metadata=”{key:value}” or integrated NBT-style data.

    Basic Syntax

Use double dashes for flags after the item ID:

    • Self-give: /give Item_ID -quantity=1 -metadata='{“durability”:50}’

    • To player: /give [player] Item_ID -metadata='{“enchantments”:[“fire_aspect”]}’
Metadata is a JSON object; keys depend on item type (e.g., “durability” for tools, “custom_name” for renamed items).

    Common Metadata Examples

Apply these to tailor items beyond defaults:

    Property Use Case Example Command
    Durability Set tool wear (0-100%) /give Weapon_Axe_Iron -metadata='{“durability”:75}’
    Enchantments Add effects /give Weapon_Sword_Flame -metadata='{“enchantments”:[“sharpness:3”]}’
    Custom Name Rename item /give Ingredient_Gem_Emerald -metadata='{“custom_name”:”Super Gem”}’
    Quantity + Metadata Stack with props /give Armor_Helm_Full_Iron 5 -metadata='{“color”:”blue”}’

    Tips and Limits

    • Enclose JSON in single quotes to avoid parsing issues; test in creative mode.

    • View valid keys/properties via in-game /droplist [Item_ID] or advanced tooltips (if enabled).

    • Not all items support every metadata key-check item-specific docs or experiment, as patches may alter formats. For full lists, generators like hytalecommands.com auto-build these.
