Slip into the paws of a curious cat and tackle every secret challenge Stray has to offer. From stealthy escapes to heartwarming discoveries, here’s the complete list of trophies and achievements waiting to be claimed.
Nearly half of the Trophies and Achievements are either automatically earned by completing story objectives or tied to a situation that’s meant to be surprising. The other Trophies and Achievements are all task-based, such as asking you to Meow 100 times, die a bunch, or complete side quests. All of Stray‘s Trophies or Achievements – even the hidden ones – are relatively easy to earn and won’t require a lot of grinding.
In this Stray guide, we’ve listed out all 25 Trophies to help you hunt for the Platinum. Note that the Xbox and Steam versions of Stray offer 24 Achievements, as there is no Platinum.
Stray Trophies and Achievements
Some trophies in Stray reward players for spotting cats scattered across the city, from alleyways to rooftops. These hidden felines blend into the environment, requiring sharp eyes to locate during exploration. Collecting them all grants the “Cat Collector” achievement, a nod to the game’s feline protagonist. Others mark quirky moments, like meowing at specific objects or knocking items off shelves in human districts. They add lighthearted challenges amid the main story.

Hidden Trophies and Achievements
Stray hides several trophies and achievements that demand sharp observation and experimentation. Players often miss the Neco Corporation badge, tucked away on a factory sign during Chapter 4, or the Meowlody track by meowing precisely at the club DJ in Chapter 6. Speedrun the Slippery Slope in Chapter 10 without slipping once for Bronze Paw. Collect all 6 music sheets scattered across chapters to snag Sheet Music, and scratch every board in the game for Scratch. These secrets reward patience and cat-like curiosity.

How to get I Am Speed trophy speedrun guide
To get the I Am Speed trophy in Stray, you must finish a full new-game run in under 2 in-game hours, with all cutscenes, dialogue, and deaths counting toward the timer.โ
Key Rules and Setup
-
Start from a fresh save slot, not Chapter Select; the trophy will not pop from a chapter-select run.
-
The in-game timer ignores loading screens but counts cutscenes, conversations, and time spent after deaths/checkpoint reloads.โ
-
Aim for about 1 hour 45-47 minutes in-game to stay safe; many successful runs finish around 1:46.โโ
Global Time-Saving Tips
-
Hold the run button constantly; only slow when following an NPC who stops if you get too far ahead.
-
Skip all optional content: no memories, badges, sheet music, scratching, TV, or side interactions.
-
Mash through dialogue and prompts (Square/Circle on PlayStation) to speed up conversations and item text.
-
Avoid dying; deaths and repeated chase sections quickly eat into your margin.
-
If you lose more than ~1-2 minutes in a chapter (e.g., repeated Zurk grabs), consider quitting to menu and restarting the chapter immediately to salvage the run.โโ
Safe Target Times Per Chapter
These real-time benchmarks give you a comfortable cushion; if you’re slower, restart early rather than finding out at the end that you missed it.โโ
| Chapter area (order) | Target max time (this chapter) | Running total (approx) |
|---|---|---|
| 1-2: Inside the Wall + Dead City | 5-6 minutes | 0:05-0:06 โโ |
| 3: The Flat | +8 minutes (โ 8 total) | 0:13-0:14 โโ |
| 4: The Slums 1 (get notebooks, meet Guardian, etc.) | +5-6 minutes |
Stray chapter by chapter speedrun times and routes
Here’s a practical chapter-by-chapter outline using reference full-game speedruns around 1h31-1h35 in-game, which is very safe for the 2-hour I Am Speed trophy.
Target chapter times (safe for trophy)
These are end-of-chapter timestamps from a successful 1:31:21 in-game run; being up to ~20-25 minutes slower overall is still fine for the trophy.โ
| Chapter | Name (for reference) | Runner reaches this chapter atโฆ | Rough target you should aim for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inside the Wall | 0:00-5:48 โ | Finish by ~7-8 minutes | |
| Dead City | 5:48-12:47 โ | Finish by ~15-17 minutes | |
| The Flat | 12:47-17:41 โ | Finish by ~22-25 minutes | |
| The Slums (part 1) | 17:41-23:55 โ | Finish by ~33-35 minutes | |
| Rooftops | 23:55-30:30 โ | Finish by ~40-45 minutes | |
| The Slums (part 2) | 30:30-39:18 โ | Finish by ~55-60 minutes | |
| Dead End | 39:18-49:57 โ | Finish by ~1:10-1:15 | |
| The Sewers | 49:57-58:44 โ | Finish by ~1:25-1:30 | |
| Antvillage | 58:44-1:00:36 โ | Finish by ~1:35-1:40 | |
| Midtown | 1:00:36-1:14:29 โ | Finish by ~1:55-1:58 | |
| Jail | 1:14:29-1:27:10 โ | Finish by ~2:10-2:15 (you won’t see this in-game if you’re under 2h) | |
| Control Room | 1:27:10-1:31:21 (final save) โ | Your in-game time must be < 2:00:00 here |
If your save-slot timer is noticeably ahead of the “Rough target” for a given chapter, it’s usually better to restart your run early rather than salvage a bad pace at the end.โ
Chapter routes: condensed instructions
These routes assume you are not picking up collectibles or doing misc trophies; everything is main-objective only.
Ch. 1-2: Inside the Wall / Dead City
-
Follow the cat group, always hold run, and take the most direct jumps; do not stop to explore or meow.
-
In Dead City, follow the linear path, jump immediately when prompts appear, and in the first Zurk chase keep to a smooth “S” line rather than weaving hard, to avoid g
