Lost in Arc Raiders’ sprawling wastes? The “On The Map” quest pins your path through hidden dangers and rare loot.
Where to find where the Fuel Lines snapped
You’ll find the broken fuel lines just north of the crashed dropship near the tall comms tower. Follow the trail of scattered metal parts along the slope until you reach a small clearing with tool crates and cables lying around. The snapped lines are easy to spot-they hang loosely from the main fuel conduit beside a half-buried supply box. Interact with the component to inspect the damage and progress the quest objective.

Fuel Lines is actually a named place of interest on Spaceport, in the southern part of the map, directly south of the Departure Building. Go to the very middle of the long pipes, directly underneath the words “Fuel Lines” on the in-game map, and you’ll spy a prompt to triangulate position.
Where to find the antenna near Fuel Control
Fuel Control is in the northeast part of Spaceport, beside Rocket Assembly, and the antenna you need is on the northwest side of the Fuel Control building, marked on your map as a tall tower near the outer wall. Approach the base of this structure until the interaction prompt appears, then stand directly underneath or on the indicated side of the tower to triangulate your position and update the quest step.

Fuel Control is another named location, so head there next. Unfortunately, it’s not exactly close to the Fuel Lines; you have about a 500m trek to get there, northeast of the Launch Towers and right next to Rocket Assembly. Outside the western door, there’s a huge satellite tower with another prompt to triangulate position at its base.
Where to find the cactus patch in the wall breach
From Fuel Control, move toward the gap in the outer wall between Rocket Assembly and Container Storage, aiming for the larger southern breach rather than the small crack near Rocket Assembly. As you approach Container Storage, watch for a cluster of cactus plants in the broken wall section on the building-facing side. Step into the middle of the cactus patch and adjust your position slightly until the triangulation interaction prompt appears, then trigger it to log the objective and progress the quest.

Next up, go southeast from Fuel Control, to the huge wall breach between Rocket Assembly and Container Storage. It’s the bigger wall breach to the south, not the small one right next to Rocket Assembly. You’ll see a cactus patch with another prompt to triangulate position in the center.
How to get to the roof of the Container Storage building
Head north from the Container Storage building’s main entrance, then scale the stacked shipping containers on the left side using their edges and gaps as handholds. Jump across the narrow gap to the adjacent platform, and climb the final ladder tucked behind the rusted metal overhang to reach the roof. Watch for patrolling Raiders below during your ascent.

What is the On Deaf Ears quest walkthrough in Arc Raiders
“On Deaf Ears” is a challenging quest in Arc Raiders from the Headwinds update, assigned by trader Lance on the tough Stella Montis map.
Quest Overview
You’ll interact with four computers across key POIs to send data about a researcher. Progress saves if eliminated, so no need for a single run. Free loadout works fine since extraction isn’t required.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1. Reception Computers
Head to Business Center’s reception (Lobby area, look for “Reception Business Center” sign). Interact with the computer behind the desk to send guest logs.
2. Researcher’s Lecture Notes
Enter the Auditorium right from reception (near Cultural Archives). Use the computer on the front desk facing seats.
3. Medical Research Prototypes
Travel west through Loading Bay to Medical Research (use upper zipline to avoid Bastion enemies). Interact with any computer there.
4. Assembly Workshops Logs
Go to Assembly Workshops’ northeast control room (top level). Pick up printed shipping logs on a cardboard box in the corner.
All steps complete the quest, unlocking follow-ups like “On The Map.”
On The Map quest differences from On Deaf Ears in Arc Raiders
“On The Map” and “On Deaf Ears” are sequential quests from Lance in Arc Raiders’ Headwinds update, with “On The Map” following “On Deaf Ears.” They differ mainly in maps, objectives, and difficulty.
Key Differences
| Aspect | On Deaf Ears | On The Map |
|---|---|---|
| Map | Stella Montis (maze-like, high-risk with Bastions and raiders) | Spaceport (safer, more open) |
| Objectives | Interact with 4 computers for data (guest logs, notes, prototypes, shipping logs) | Triangulate at 5 spots (Fuel Lines, Antenna, Cactus, Roof, mark tarp container) |
| Traversal | Multi-level navigation, ziplines, ladders; indoors-heavy | Ground/zipline travel across POIs; mix of breaks and roofs |
| Difficulty | Toughest due to map/enemies; progress saves | Less enemy-dense; progress saves, marathon-style running |
| Bugs/Notes | Final box search may reset (extract to fix) | Final graffiti mark on beam; no major bugs noted |
Both allow resuming after elimination and use free loadouts safely, but Stella Montis demands more caution.
