Moordaine Lodge Stronghold

Moordaine Lodge sits in the northeastern part of Scosglen, reached by following the road north from the Tirmair waypoint until the forest opens into the abandoned hunting grounds. Once a revered retreat for Scosglen’s greatest trackers, it is now infested with beasts and druids warped by the influence of the Beast of Moordaine and its master, Fionnir the Mad Druid. Clearing the Stronghold means tracking down the lodge’s missing hunters, fighting through the corrupted woods, and defeating both the Beast and Fionnir before rekindling the Wanderer’s Shrine to reclaim the area and earn Scosglen Renown alongside access to the Twisted Hollow and Feral’s Den dungeons.

You’ll find Moordaine Lodge in the far northeast of Sanctuary.

Completing this stronghold grants access to new waypoints and opens the region for exploration and quests tied to Scosglen’s druidic history.

You’ll find Tur Dulra along the northwestern coast of Sanctuary. The first trick to Tur Dulra Stronghold is finding the way in since the main bridge is blocked. It’s easiest to loop around clockwise and enter from the southwest.

To clear the stronghold, you must fight through the flooded docks, destroy the demonic structures empowering the storm, and restore the beacon at the summit. Completing Hope’s Light awards renown, experience, and a waypoint, making it a valuable stop as you progress through the region.

Hope’s Light Stronghold is located on the tiny peninsula along the northern shore of Sanctuary.

Best strategy to clear Hope’s Light stronghold fast

Hope’s Light Stronghold in Diablo 4’s Scosglen region requires efficient enemy clears and survival during timed waves to complete quickly. Focus on area-of-effect (AoE) and crowd control (CC) skills to handle Drowned packs and elites while maintaining mobility.

Step-by-Step Strategy

Progress involves winches, survival phases, and the boss Tidewitch Ne’gana.

  • Initial Path: Break the water-logged barricade at entry, climb the first shipwreck sail after activating the winch, and survive the first 40-second Drowned wave using CC to group enemies.

  • Second Winch: Head east to a shrine, go south to defeat the Hullsmasher elite near a bell, grab the winch northeast, return it to the broken mast, and endure the tougher 40-second wave-dodge ground ripples that erupt into geysers.

  • Lighthouse Climb: Clear foes at the base, use the nearby Healing Well, then ascend stairs to the boss arena.

Boss Tactics

Position behind Tidewitch Ne’gana to avoid her heavy weapon smash and knockback projectile. Alternate AoE clears on summoned Wretches with single-target damage on her; stay mobile to evade water torrents.

Speed Tips

Prioritize overleveled gear (level 25+ recommended), high-mobility builds, and potions for sustain. After boss defeat, ignite the beacon and rekindle the Wanderer’s Shrine to finish-unlocks Flooded Depths dungeon and 100 Renown.
